I'm sure most of you have heard about it, it the house album voted for by you, the clubbers and the people who really care about House Music. The tracklisiting was chosen by the public though in the Most Rated vote, so its the voters and clubbers to blame!

I think you guys are missing the point, this album is not going to be aimed at the underground or seasoned DJ's. We are trying to open up the market, by doing a reasonably commercial compilation that is not just another 'NOW DANCE 2004' with a few house tunes and some dodgy trance. Considering our background you can hardly accuse Defected of not caring or knowing about house music, and we've put as much love into this comp as we have with the In the House. With Jazzy Jeff ITH, and Joey Negro ITH you can hardly accuse us of forgetting about the underground.
 
Its not neccessarily a bad thing to aim at a larger market, but this kind of album is not aimed at people who already have the tunes like me, though I would not complain at all about the standard of the other ITH mixes
 
I've heard it and it's a really good mix. My bird ain't into house in the same way I am and she thinks it's the nutz! And, I ain't arguing with her!

Now Jazzy Jeff ITH! That's something special to me. What a f***ing compilation. And, even better are the vinyl packs. Very, very cool.

I think your missing the point. We werent saying that it was aimed at the underground or seasoned DJ's or whatever.

We were simply saying its got the same records on it as hundreds of other compilations. So in effect it is just another throw away compilation.

The defected sound is far from what I like , but maybe it would of been nice for the people who do like it to hear a compliation from yourselves that fits with the defected ethos without sticking to the same cash in records they have already got on their Ministry/Cream/Ibiza 2004 CD comps .....

How can you comment on something you haven't heard? It's actually a very nice mix.
 
How can I comment on something I havent heard - I dont need to hear it to know that most of the tracks are available on a lot of other comps.

It doesnt matter whether I have heard it or not unless your are suggesting I actually buy it for the mixing and not the tracks which would be ridiculous unless this was something completely out of the ordinary.
