More than 650 dead in Iraq due to bridge collapse!

It happened after hundreds of normal peaceful people panicked due to a threat of a terrorist carrying a bomb, and when the people were passing through the bridge it collapsed down.

Poor people! :(

It'a a real tragedy the big quantity of incidents happening there almost everyday.
 
according to sky ( :lol: ) the bridge didnt collapse someone shouted suicide bomber and everyone jumped off the side of the bridge.

I read that it was a railing on the side of the bridge that broke, not that the whole bridge collapsed.

Another typhoon getting ready to devastate SE Asia too, just after Katrina destroyed New Orleans.

Not a good week.

Bertuzz, I know exactly what you mean. Will also be interesting to see how much Bush pledges to Katrina hit areas in comparison to what he has actually given to help the Tsunami victims. I know he needs to protect and rebuild homeland but I reckon proportionately it will dwarf the Tsunami aid.

People are now so de-sensitised to death in Iraq its disgusting.
