Are we allowed to mention the C______word :?

It's too early in the season to be bribing Tom with sexual favours so he doesn't get mardy after the game

Thought Wright-Phillips was amazing in second half, Terry is always the rock  and ok Crespo had a 'wonder strike' (they're Tom's words   ;) ) but apart from that :? :? :?

.........and just why have you got a picture of an ape in your singnature?

I've been giving Tom computer lessons and he discovered Google images so he was having a field day doing Oakie and Chelsea searches

And this picture came up and it's just all about the arms 8O

Ps Rob I just told Tom what you said about having ape in my signature and he says you're banned from the HOP from now on

Don't worry I'll let you in  ;)

How about that game? The guys in blue played amazingly well!!

Unfortunately, Chelsea were in their black away kit

I'm not sure if it's that Chelsea played poorly (at least, in the 2nd half. I don't think they were there the 1st half... dopplegangers), or Wigan really just played that well but, as Mourinho so humbly put it, it certainly didn't look like a match between the champions of the Premiership and Championship. Pretty much an even match-up.

Crespo's strike was something akin to devine intervention. Terry and Gallas were good. Maka had an off day. Shaun was threatening (though I thought Robben, whom he replaced, had a couple of good runs too... but his defending sucked). Our fullbacks looked useless. And why didn't Frank let Del Horno take that last free kick?

OK. Rant over. Just happy we got the 3 points :?

I thought Mourinho came over lovely in the post-match interview cos he was so humble, a very lucky 3 points in the bag ;)

And talking about Del Horno, don't you think he looks like a slightly better version of Wayne Bridge  and due you to Saturday night excesses I spent the first 45 mins thinking it was Bridge

I tell you, I'm going somewhere, anywhere, I don't care where, to be away from Tom next Sunday

I'm glad I sat in the front row at the sports bar so my yelling at the screen might not have seemed as loud to those behind me as it, in reality, was

I think next week's game is on network TV here... Think I'll avoid embarassment by staying in and order a pizza :?

Del Horno does look a bit like Bridge, with a better haircut and a light bit of facework

We've bloody got Chelsea TV in the HOP so there's no escape for me   ;)

I'm glad I'm not the only one re Del Horno, he's just a less monkey-fied version of Bridge  ;)

We have Chelsea TV too (included in our cable package without extra fees... how's that for progress!). It was great during the pre-season.

The problem is that we don't have Sky at home, except for Sky News. The Sky system costs a couple thousand dollars to install on top of the monthly fees.. though I've probably spent that much at SportLand by now

The Russian network Sport shows a lot of home games, though sometimes with a half-hour time delay. :?

Your wife is so lucky  ;) Last wkend Tom gave me the job of ringing up our Sky people and paying for the extra 8 million games  on pay per view on top of all the Sky Sports channels

I wouldn't mind if I had an interest in the Premiership but it's all about Division 2 (sorry League 1   ) this season :D

Lucky? She's more fanatical than I am! She's the one yelling at me to get ready 2 hours before we need to be at the sports bar! I can't take a business trip to the UK without her wanting to come along to see a game! (my solo trip in April was the exception!)

I wish we could watch at home more... gets expensive by the end of the season.

Look at you poops dissing on my Oakie

***PG dying at Morbyd's ape comment***

He must change the hair my darlings. :P :P

I just came home from a wedding and am spectacularly drunk so I thought I would interrupt and say hello to the both of you -xoxo Sara :)
