Instructions:
1. Only two people can travel at once.
2. Daddy cannot stay with the girls without the mother.
3. Mum can’t stay with the boys without the father.
4. The arrested red-haired girl (in striped overall) cannot stay with any of the family members.
5. Only the police officer and the parents can drive the boat across the river.
6. Click on the people you want to transport.
7. To use the boat click on the red dots next to the boat.

I'd take the sheep and the bag of rice over the boat first and then.....oh, er hang on a minute
 
Damn... solved it once by trial and error but now I can't repeat it so as to figure out how I did it :confused:
 
can somebody please tell me how its done..im tearing my hair out here....its seems impossible

Highlight below for the answer

Policeman takes the prisoner over, goes back for one of the boys, takes the prisoner back
Dad takes the other boy over, goes back for the mom
Mom takes the boat back over
Policeman takes the prisoner over
Dad goes back for mom
Mom takes dad over, returns, takes one of the girls over
Policeman takes the prisoner over, takes the other girl back, then goes back for the prisoner
