Monday parties at Amnesia or DC10 Circoloco ?

Hi ! Mondays appear to be more choice than ever with Circoloco at DC, Amnesia Presents at Amnesia, Hype at Hi and Prydz at Univ. So we are torn between Opening party at Amnesia and Circocolo, both on 23 June. Just looking at line-up at Amnesia music does look like more on commercial side, certainly much softer than the one in DC.

Has anyone been at Amnesia presents parties ? How is it musically and vibely ?
 
I am not sure . I think Ben and Kettama are mainly on commercial house and drum and bass side. If this is the case , not our cup of tea …

Ben varies can be anything from trance to tech house (fair enough he can occasionally throw commercial sh!te into his sets)

His trance sets are the best by far but wether the Mondays at Amnesia will be a trance night who knows. I’d guess not
 
Assume it'll be similar to what he was doing when he plays creamfields or what he was doing at rocks last year

He's got a lot of his own more commercial stuff and will usually throw in some classics

But agree his trance sets are very good - was hopeful he'd get the kids into it
 
Thanks everyone. I guess we will not take risk of ruing the night with the commercial shit even it is only part of the playlist (enough to kill the vibe), so will do DC. It is a shame Amnesia this year is going to be our least visited club, reversal from the previous years when it was a majority. There is fewer techno parties this year in Amnesia, only Sundays really. I guess departures of Elrow, Paradise have affected their calendar badly.

Well, our favorite club will be missed this year.

I am really hoping the will do smth interesting on June 26th, the only night still free in our itinerary.

Just taking a moment to reminisce about this - my personal golden age of Ibiza - Circo from afternoon until early AM’s and then the taxi over to Amnesia for Cocoon until the early hours 😍

Ibiza didn’t get better than that for me!

Was watching videos from circoloco opening party and cant believe how bad it sounded. Might as well of been any of the tech house nights on the island🤷‍♂️

100%, I was just thinking about the times we did Space on a Sunday from the afternoon, got a passout and went over to Bora Bora, then back into Space, then when that closed, over to DC10!
 
These were the days…some of the states in DC10 on a Monday morning 🤪🤪🤪

Resistance on Weds is definitely gonna have techno and is looking like their best night, with Adam Beyer as a main resident. However the rest of the lineup, at least judging from the opening, seems like it will be more melodic techno. For more pure techno, yeah Pyramid seems to be it
 
Yes Adam never disappoints, but resistance starts in July.

Pyramid is indeed one of the best parties on the islands but with Carl Cox on Sunday now makes it very competitive.

So my hope is still for Thursday which still shows “no event” on the calendar.

Will there be anything I am wondering ?
