Eeek, how exciting 
Ours is all with solicitors now, surveys have been done, all the forms and signed, I just want them to get a move on cos we want to move NOW
Spent Friday night choosing paint colours and furniture and we're going out this wkend to buy everything.

if I was seriously decorating my house with a nice budget I'd throw out all the ikea crap.
I still don't really know what kind of house I'd like, I'd love minimal but I'm rubbish at being tidy so it would be a bit pointless. I guess I'll just get a boyfriend that can decide and veto most things
. I've got taste, just can't be bothered to apply it I'm going minimal but am expecting all my good intentions to go astray.

I'm hijacking my own thread now.
I'm buying a croquet set from ebay!!!
I feel that I should make the most of living on Victoria Park so will be having regular high brow croquet on the lawn parties complete with cucumber sandwiches, cava (& a cheeky half or five with Uncle Kenneth as compare!).
Isn't that just the best idea ever?

I'm buying a croquet set from ebay!!!
I feel that I should make the most of living on Victoria Park so will be having regular high brow croquet on the lawn parties complete with cucumber sandwiches, cava (& a cheeky half or five with Uncle Kenneth as compare!).
Isn't that just the best idea ever?

I don't even know if secretsundaze will be going ahead this year, Jamie was saying he was talking to James and cos it's won all these awards they're worried that it's going to get too big, you know how busy it used to get last year and now there's every man and his dog going to want a piece of secretsundaze action and they'll need much bigger venues but where can you think of that's big enough plus got outside space for some alfresco dancing

Hee hee - sounds like my "colourful house"
Living Room - bright yellow
Kitchen - bright green with white and chrome accessories
Bedroom 1 - bright blue with white furniture
Bedroom 2 - green with light ash furniture and oatmeal carpet
Bathroom - light terracotta/ white tiles and dark terracotta edge tiles with beech and chrome accessories
Hall/stairs/landing - coconut and grass stuff carpet.....

I can't say I'm surprised because the last few were ridiculous.
To their credit though, they only let a few people in so it wasn't rammed on the inside but still - they've fallen victim to their own success haven't they?
I think they'll still happen - but will be completely unadvertised and inner circley.
...and if I'm not one of the chosen few I'll be playing croquet on Viccy park instead.
