Millenium!

I was living in Cardiff at the time and was in a kinda drumming band and we had a free festival type thing in the centre, so I was there, sorta dressed up, banging a drum (in time I might add  ) getting more and more p*ssed! I then decided to ask my then boyfriend to marry me as the clock struck midnight, to which he said yes! Got up the next day realising what I had done 8O and had to tell loads of people I was only joking

Just realised I didnt answer the music question. I have no idea what was playing cos I was too p*ssed!

er... have NO idea.

just remember walking home for about 3 years as all the tubes near were closed.

near a bridge?
I was near a bridge too!

Next to the bridge right by parliament (forget what it's called). We were staying in an apartment in the Marble Arch area and had to hoof it home as well. I vaguely remember picking up some curry on the way

I found it a bit rubbish tbh cos all I really wanted to do was get very drunk but I was underage and my dad only brought a couple of bottles of champagne with him

I loved it, being out in this ginormous crowd. Watching the fireworks and all that, hanging out with a group of friends that had scattered around the world, meeting randoms on the street (like the lesbian who walked up and kissed a nearly-passed out Irina )... only the drizzling rain was a bit annoying.

I was the one who took the initiative and wandered off to find a working liquor store to replenish our supplies mid-evening, so we were ok on the booze. Of course, we were all of legal drinking age. :p

A group of us did the coupley thing in a lodge by Ribblehead Viaduct in the Yorkshire Dales. We dragged a load of chairs outside, put on our coats and watched nature's fireworks as we drank hot red wine. Saw about ten shooting stars that night. Excellent stuff.

I was on the forshore of Sydney Harbour watching the fireworks and drinking homemade punch out of big softdrink bottles hehe. Best fireworks display ever, great night! The only music was my mates and I singing badly.

I saw those fireworks too :D

Falling around in Botanic Gardens after drinking outside it for hours as we weren't allowed booze in, aaahhhhhh bags of wine

The soundtrack - millions of people wooping and the odd, Auld Lang Syne for good measure ;)
