Miami WMC - anyone been ?

i was there in 2000 by accident (great accident though!). its not so laid back.. more on the posey side but still fun.

.........laid back ?...........posey ?.....wtf.......its 5 days of partying.....and in those 5 days there are 140 party's to choose from....I'm staying at the Fairwinds on Collins and 10th.......come ask for scousejohn.....and i'll show you around....... :D
 
The WMC is a great time. It has a very Ibiza feel to it. Loads of parties to choose from- as a matter of fact, there are TOO many parties and you have to plan your week carefully. I highly recommend it.
 
We were invited out there this year (And all expenses paid!!) but due to certain things, can't go :( Gutted !

Ok...I'm all booked up... going 21st, leaving 27th, should be good. If anyone has any 'local' knowledge then please enlighten me. I know about the Ultra Music festival on the 26th but not a lot else at the moment.
 
.....the day before is the Radio 1 party @ Nikki Beach....not to be missed...there'll be a couple of partys at Space that are not to be missed....and lots of daytime pool partys...get on the WMC site and get email updates on all the parties.....there are so many that you have to pick and choose about 3 or 4 per day to go to....cya there....
 
thanks SJ...I am just looking at the cooljunkie.com forum and it looks lke the week is gonna be superb. Any hints re: dress code for clubs...the reason I ask is that last time I went to Miami ( a few years ago), they were really pissy on tshirts and trainers. Any other gems you can pass on will be much appreciated.

lol no .. we're due at the police station to be charged at the beginning of march and knowing our lucky we will end up in court around the time of MWC !
 
That's a looooong wait - you must be on hot bricks...... BUT if its a one off offence i bet its no where near as bad as you think its gonna be love.....
