Mexican Spanish question for Silvia

Vato! What another great Mexican expression! Vato loco!
Orale - what does that mean exactly as an expression? Does that exist as well in Castillian? I hear it often but can't remember where?
Other local idiomatic expressions I like are:
"Bueno" for responding to a phone call instead of "Ola" (Mexico)
"Mande?" instead of "Como?" or "Perdon?" for a polite "What?" or "Excuse Me"? (Mexico)
"Vale" or "Venga" for who knows what but must be the two most popular words used in Spain, but not so much in Latin America.
"Dale" is the Argentian version of "Vale"
"Barbaro": Cool in Argentina
"Chevere": Cool in Venezuela
