Are you one of them?? and do you like a metrosexual? understand me, I mean not a man that likes to get well dressed or like to look after oneself, cause I like that, what I mean is those ones that they just so obsessed. is your type? if being a metrosexual is what I have seen in tv then I think I couldn't put up with it, Am I a conservative woman ?
 
My metrosexual mates are a bit annoying because they're always late! Too much time preening in front of the mirror :roll:
 
If metrosexual means spending loads of time etc on appearance then no, I prefer a bloke who just gets ready, puts some clothes on and then is ready to go and imo they look much better than boys who have spent ages planning their outfit etc.

I was seeing someone once who fitted the metrosexual tag and believe me you don't want a boy spending longer on his hair than you do or looking thru your celeb mags wondering who he's going to 'model' his dress sence on next :roll: :lol:

There's a difference between looking after yourself (male skincare/grooming/buying nice clothes) and trying too hard and I think blokes look silly if they've tried to hard.

I gotta admit to being a fan of the metro look. They usually look gorgeous and have amazing style. Probably couldn't date one for too long though, because it is nauseating when a man takes longer to get ready than I do. Prissiness does not turn me on.
It is sexy when a man can be natural around me and let himself get a little scruffy. If you really like the guy, they look fabulous to you all the time. My favorite (I know, PG is a moron) is when they are done with the gym. Their hair is all messed up, the skin salty and smells of glorious male pheromones... YOW :P :P

Well you always look very well put together and have lots of style... but I certainly hope that you don't take eight years to get ready for a night on the town!! ;)

A lot of the metros are a little bit more obsessive than just looking sharp. For example, every spike of their perfectly groomed fauxhawk must be in place. They get manicures. They go to Sephora to buy a $30 jar of cream to prevent ingrown hairs on their expertly shaven chests lol. Believe it or not, The Diva did that. :lol: :lol:
 
Sephora! That was a really good shop for buying grooming bits n bobs...i think all the UK ones shut down though :?

Thanks for the compliments Sara. I do go the extra mile to make sure that I am very well put together and colorful when I go out. I just find the simple dull colors so flippin' boring. I will admit that the one thing that I check out most of the time when I see people is the watch that they are sporting. A watch can tell a lot about a person.

BTW, I do not take forever to get ready for a night out, or make sure that every strand of my hair is in the right place. Although I do pay attention to my doo a bit. I come from a line of Kojaks so I need to enjoy my doo while I can. As far as manicures are concerned, I let my chompers do the work :oops: . I have never been inside Sephora, and heck no to shaving off any chest hair.

Who is this Diva that you and Mel mention time and again? Did I ever see him?

I call him that because of this long period post-breakup when he acted sort of whiny and bratty and treated me like a rag lol. Things have changed a bit, I think he has grown up enough for us to be friends as of late.

In this pic he is a living example of metro to the max lol. He does always look impressive and perfect still when I see him out. :P
