meganite wednesdays @ Privelege????

Seen Picotto on several occasions in the arches and the guy has been f***in magic, certainly knows how to get a crowd going.

Would love to see something like that happening but dont think it would privelige. is there a way of reducing the capacity by blocking some of it off?

i can see this night doing quite well, although i dont rate picotto as a techno dj 1 bit, i believe he is quite popular across europe and he is certainly popular with alot of brits that arent really that into techno.

chris libeling is quite a big attraction and i am sure they will have other big name techno jocks appearing. and techno seems really popular with the spanish.

Picotto has changed his style for the better. he used to play that shitty sounding tech/trance/hard house sound.

he is now playing funky techno, with a bit of tough progressive thrown in.

He is playing Liebing, hardcell, Literon, marco Bailey etc........all solid funky techno.

If you like carl cox, christian smith, christia varela etc then you'll enjoy the stuff Picotto is playing these days.

He's a lot better than he used to be, still nothing on DJs like: Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier, Sven Vath, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Cari Lekebusch, Marco Carola, Chris Liebing, Vitalic, Green Velvet, DJ Rush, Michel De Hey, Trevor Rockcliffe, Dave Angel, or Marco Bailey though.

i agree he isnt in the league of some of those guys but there are a few in there who i wouldnt rate any greater than picotto.

on recent performances anyway i think the guy has shown he is a real crowd pleaser and has more than enough skill on the decks to holdhis own with most of the best.

to try and compare him to guys like hawtin, clarke and garnier isnt even close but these guys are legends, goundbreaking pioneers and picotto imself would tell you that

ive read on his message board that they are changing the layout of the club and they are bringing in a new sound system for picotto's night. Dont know how true it is though

"They arnt using any of the club past the Dj box. They are also bring in more sound to compensate for the sound that is lost because of the size being made smaller.

The back of the club will be totally cut off from the rest and it will have a new decor for our nite only"

taken from another board from a guy who works with Picotto :)
