There is also a site called Up hospitality who are pretty good for sorting that stuff out if there are a group of you..... you could try that....

@ pete K - at every night the club itself, the event/promoters and the DJs (through the promoters) will have a guestlist of some sort, although if things start getting busy then the club's guestlist is the best to be on (a la pacha c. 4am on friday and saturday night).
contacting them may give you an indication as to whether or not they would give let you have guestlist............suppose depending on who you worked for and what your work consisted of. E.g. I'd imagine if it was a 10 page glossy spread in Rolling Stone or somethin then you'd have no problem..........but a 30min bulletin on Radio Rednecksville then you'd be struggling.
most guestlists are sorted out very close to the event so make sure you promote yourself/media organisation when you're on the island...........if all else fails, turn up looking like a journalist and say you've come all the way from the states to cover that event for a magazine...............serious, i've been let in free for much less
