Just like last year, mates pulled out again this year due to financial constraints! I'm bleak as anything, but have decided sod it..I'll go anyway. It'll be my 2nd trip, so at least I know it's safe for a woman travelling on her own!! Quite daunting though...I'm mostly worried about going out and how I'm going to cope with being by myself on the dancefloors!
I've had to start looking for accommodation etc all over again. I'm really keen on staying in PDB or that side of the island, but most places are quite pricey when you're by yourself!! (ie converting the Mozambique Meticais at 26 to the US$)!
Does anybody know what the hostels are like? I'm not all that keen on walking down a corridor to go for a pee! The other cheaper option is to rent a little cottage/self catering spot somewhere but the only drawback with that is I'm by myself so won't really get to meet people like I am hoping to do if I stay in a hotel.
Any ideas? I'd really appreciate it.
