How does Matinee compare to We Love Space? I'm thinking of taking either Saturday or Sunday off but I'm not sure which one. I've been to We Love a couple of times and I've had a blast, but I've never been to Matinee. Is the music policy radically different? What about the crowd? I know that a lot of people would say to do both, but if you had to choose one or the other, which would it be? Thanks in advance!

We Love and Matinee are my 2 must-dos in Ibiza (well maybe not so much now Matinee isn't daytime).
Before you could easily do both (Saturday daytime sesh @ Matinee and then Sunday afternoon into Space for the duration), now Matinee is 6pm - 6am I may be less inclined to do Matinee as it's more suited to daytime clubbing.
The music is completely different at both - Matinee is very fun, uplifting house, lots of gay anthems etc. The crowd is very European and altho it's origins are as a gay aftershow in Barcelona, it's quite a mixed crowd in Ibiza but there will still be plenty of men in pants there
If you want to see big name DJs, a more 'clubby' crowd etc then stick with WLS, if you want more of a fun clubbing experience then do Matinee.
