Mates phoning you in UK from Space ?

I had one of these calls on Saturday morning.

My old mate buzzing me, thanking me for suggesting a few places to visit and helping him through his first trip to Ibiza.

He was on the Terrace in Space (at Matinee I think) and was in a 'lovely, happy state' :P - I was in my lounge in Swindon working out whether to have Bran or Eggs for breakfast !

I must admit it made me smile for the whole day and took me right back to Ibiza.

I even got to talk to loads of merry randoms on the Terrace as the phone was passed around all over the show :lol: - they were all asking what I was doing 'right now' . . . *sigh* . . . . 'Hi mate , I'm in Swindon , I'm shivering etc ' . . . :lol:

Anyone else had similar calls and how did it make them feel ?

I guess to a certain extent it depends if you are soon to go, have just come back or whatever . . . .
 
I had one phone call and a hundred texts with a good buddy of mine while I was on the island. He just had twins and thus couldn't join us for the first time in 5 years.

He was happy to get the updates though... I got complaining text msgs when party reports were late in coming :lol:
 
Happened at the WLS opening 8) . I think I was watching the Heaven & Earth Show on BBC1 at the time :roll:
