On the MM site it says that the Closing Party will now be this friday with Special Guests to be announced. Anybody heard any whispers? Who would you like to see???
 
Excellent!! I think its great that they are giving up and coming bands a helping hand. Is Hendix playing via satalite cause there's no way he's playing 'live'

While it is clearly a sign of better life not to know what's happening in the insular the world of the board, it isn't particular to the board that the 'Cream' in the trio of rock/guitar artists mention were likely to be the rock/guitar band 'Cream'.

But, like the rest of us, I guess you were multi-tasking. ;)
 
on the subject of rock i was reminded of the time (it must have been '69 or '70) when me and the lads all went to see the mothers of invention in concert in liverpool. they strode on stage and laid into a really freaky groove. everyone broke into rapturous applause at the end of this hitherto unrecognised tune. Frank Zappa shuffled across to the mike and said, 'What are you all on? We were just tuning up!'
