manumission or release yourself

I have been to Manu every time I have been to Ibiza and each year it has differed. I will be going this year too.

Luckily I am on the island for 2 weeks so one week I will do Sanchez and one week at Manu - depending on what line ups are I will decide when I get there what week I will go to each.

Looking forward to the Carry on this year too.
 
I was lucky to go to both last year. Sanchez played such a fantastic mix of music styles and loads of classics, had a top night.

That said I'd to Manumission again - Have to agree with a few other comments about the atmosphere picking up after 4, before that it was hard work but after :lol: Sunrise was amazing and there was so much to take in. Plus have an hour on the beach in PDB then get into Carry On. Now that's another story 8O

It's not your usual clubbing experience for sure but I took away so many brilliant memories last year!

but for me i was let down by manumission last year!!!!! i will not ne returning!!!!! im glad i can say ive been there though!!!!
 
roger sanchez at pacha is truely the best night on the island for me.ive been an done the manumission thing,and 4 me it was just like go,n to the circus,the show they put on just kills the buzz with thousands of people just standing around watching.for me clubbing is about the vibe of the music,and roger sanchez sets ,is all about the music,and the atmosphere for release yourself in pacha is just superb. :lol:

But if u really dislike Techno so goto Release Yourself @ Pacha and avoid the circus show (Manumission) at all costs!
 
Down w/ Manumission

Don't go to Manumission!! I've gone the past three years and it has been a steady decline each year. Was hoping last year that the Coco Loco room would be a night filled with memories and good times, but even that was relatively empty.

Last year the main room in Sept was 1/2 full. When Privilege is so empty, it really lacks atmoshphere. I really regretted not hitting Roger's party or hanging out w/ the Germans we met at DC-10 for Cocoon. We went home early as it was so boring.

My recommendation would be to hit RY and then find out where the Cocoon beach after party is. If that has been squashed by the police, hit the Manumission Carry On.

Every week in August the club was at capacity.
