I'm flying out on the 14th June for my stag weekend, were all veteran clubbers but we cant decide where to go on the friday night. Do we go to manumission opening or pure pacha????

Has anyone been to both? which one will be better?

Well, I'd probably go with Pure Pacha. I saw the Manumission opener two years ago, with Fischerspooner, and it was ok, but...then they moved it to Friday, and I didn't hear good things about it. I'd definitely do Pure Pacha if I were you.

Thanks Jerseyboy. I'm giving serious thought to pure pacha now although I had been swinging more towards manumission. I might have to wait until Manumission publish their line-up.

I went to the Manumission opening last year but dont really have anything to compare it to as it was my first year of going, I personally thought it was great, completely out this world but I remember lots of trouble after as in people not being able to get out or something.

Manumission (when on Mondays) didn't release line-ups until the week of the party (putting up posters on the tuesday with the DJs)

as far as i know its still the same - although you get some Djs letting it slip

Manumission doesn't tend to have much in the way of a 'line-up' - if you want a combination of clubbing, circus, cabaret and striptease, with more of a conventional club feel in some of the side rooms and the added bonus of seeing a venue of epic proportions when it is packed out, go there. If you gotta have house music all night long (ahem) , a visit to Pacha might be in order - although you could always wait for Def Mix the following night instead.
