Wow, what a line-up!

The Music Box was incredible last Monday as Optimo were playing. It's a great alternative to the main proceedings and less hectic too.

Rumours I've heard suggest that it's going to be even bigger next year. ;)
 
yeh amazing line-up, saw ewan pearson there last year and he was quality. but not as good as optimo last monday, had an amazing night, just grudge the 13 euro drink price. main room looked horribly busy last monday and i had no idea who was playing either, but i coulnt care cause the music box was on fire
 
yeh, fecking 13 euros for a voddy. also how come the price in space has increased from 10 to 12 since the end of june, went in last week and handed over a 20 for 2 drinks only to be asked for more money, dont understand how the prices have went up in the space of 2 months.

so i was right, i always thought long drinks were 10 euros - i'm not sure why they put the price up.

You were at Optimo too? I was up at the front going mental throughout!

Did you make the Carry On as well?
 
yeh i went to see the optimo boys, absolutely loved it, i was pretty near the front as well most of the night and i was just going crazy.

was considering the carry on, and had i been staying in playa this year i defo would have went, but my energy (and money level) was flagging a bit come 7 so we just decided to go back to the hotel.
 
Are you from Edinburgh by any chance? I got chatting to a guy from Edinburgh who was there for most of the night and seemed to be having a whale of a time.

The Carry On was immense.
 
yeh im from edinburgh, i was there with my brother, i think the person u were speaking to was my brother (he was wearing a white t-shirt, i had my radio magnetic t-shirt on), i remember him speaking to a girl with an english accent down the front who was also appeared to be havin a rather good time.

Aye, that was me! I'm actually from Edinburgh as well, but I suppose that can be confused for being English! ;)
 
lol, sorry, must have been the music messing with my ears. could have sworn it was an english accent, anyways my apologies, what an amazing night it was.

any idea who the dj on before them was, didnt recognise him but he seemed to be playing some really good electro-y stuff
