Manchester night out

As MHenton said the White Hotel is a good shout. I’m in my 50s and thought it was great There’s lots of different genres on different nights. We went last year and saw Prosumer play. A very friendly diverse crowd with different ages. Ended up being a bit of sweatbox in the end, A proper rave and we loved it!
Watch that slope on the dance floor though!😂

Yeah white hotel is pure darkness with plenty of hazards to trip over too! Great spot though and I don’t make it there enough.

Loft is decent, can be a younger crowd but depends on the night and I’m sure Pearson Sound & Midland will attract a nice crowd, annoyed I can’t go. I am heading there in a few weeks for Moxie so can give an updated report after that.

Soup has thrown a spanner now, tama sumo is playing there all night, never been the venue and she seems right up my street! 21st November, if anyone lives in the area and fancies it, let me know if you want to meet up

only £5.50 for Tama Sumo at the minute too! Was at Soup all the time when I first moved to Manchester but haven’t been in the basement for a few years now. It’s a great little room.

Loft was great for Moxie last week, a real mix of people and “perfectly busy”

Yeah I’ve bagged one. Gonna go warehouse for a few hours to see Barry then go soup for 11-12ish🙂

Off to manc again in April, looking at Friday 3rd for a few nights. When I went in November I ended up in soup after seeing Barry can’t swim at the warehouse, but it was pretty dead, think the lesson I learned was the smaller venues suffer when warehouse is in town? Nice friendly crowd and good music in soup but it was really empty, like literally 20 people for a guess. Going from the busiest I’ve ever seen the warehouse to that was different 😂
Looking at white hotel again as u guys recommend it but also, have u guys any input on eastern bloc records for a gig? Is it more a gathering than a rave?
Cheers

ooh, you’ve got Nick Warren at Joshua Brooks, daytime event on 4th

Keep an eye out for events at Hidden, Loft, Nowhere, Piccadilly Central, Joshua Brooks, Stage & Radio.

There's also Ambers, I've not been yet, they don't release line-ups and I've heard it can be a young crowd.

Yeah I’d read that about ambers. I don’t mind the youngsters it’s jus nice to have people ur own age to chat too sometimes 😂 Nick warren crowd you’d think would’ve diverse age wise

Joshua Brooks is brilliant, my favourite place in town, crowd is always diverse, went to Mark Knight all night long last week, crowd ranged from 18 to 50 year olds all having a blast!
Nick Warren will be great there.
