One, I wouldn't wear a leather coat either.

And two, altho I despise both, the leather industry (which mainly is a byproduct of the meat industry) is completely different to Chinchilla farming.

You might find things like this enlightening  http://www.petatv.com/skins.html
Don't need to watch the propaganda... I've always been against fur.

Don't have a problem with leather, though, seeing as I'll eat the cow just as soon as I'll wear it's skin. Nothing goes to waste!

Question is, do you wear leather shoes :?:

Was a bit silly of her really.

Anyway, won't comment as I know nothing about chinchilla farming and I doubt that petatv.com gives the most rounded view on it :?

if it's humane I really dont see the difference from leather.

See above re meat industry by products.

Saw on the front of the paper just now that she's had death threats? I don't hold much truck with extreme 'antis' of any type, I genuinely believe they're more interested in the protest than the issue, but she must have expected trouble surely?

Whats everyones thoughts on Animal testing then?

I think its an essential part of scientific research, but would prefer it if laws could be changed to allow us to test pharmaceuticals and make up on convicted criminals such as paedophiles, murderers, and terrorists.
