Madonna

That is insane.

...and I thought £125 for Depeche Mode was highway robbery (thus skipped the concert last month).

Are all shows this expensive nowadays? :?

Was it really that expensive? I paied about £30 to see the "Mode" on Sunday

There were some £65 seats in the "severe nosebleed and binoculars" section. :?

By comparison, I saw Fun Lovin' Criminals for £30 last month. I think the DM promoters were having a laugh.

It's all about supply and demand though, isn't it. People like Madonna can get away with it. Plus, someone's gotta pay for her Kaballah lessons!

£30 was for standing tickets so we could get as close as we wanted too!

So, only an 80 pound margin for you, eh Grego? Looks like your profit margins are slipping

in fact for a tout its better that the face value of the tickets are more expensive...............i mean either way the punter is gonna feel abused whether they buy it from ticketmaster or from a tout. :?

I actually think she's an amazing performer as they go.

whilst i've never been a fan, i think she's had her day. does anyone really want to see a woman of her age with her flange hanging out?

She used to be a good performer.... but this writhing dance form that she's gotten into over the past few years I just don't get. It's like she's lost all sense of rhythm.

When's she ever done anything but writhe? :?

Did you see her last tour or have you just plucked that one out of the air? I thought the coreography was bloody brilliant!

Naw... just talking about TV performances. Haven't seen here live, unfortunately.

I liked her style more back in the Truth or Dare era (great film, by the was... shot by a fellow alum of my uni 8))

My friend spent $300 for tix to see U2 in Dublin. Highway robbery, but probably well worth it.

I don't spend a lot of money on concerts and DJ's, unless I am in Ibiza.
