Hi!
Does anyone know the Lux Mar Apartamentos in Figueretas?
Are the flats big?
Thanks for any suggestion/comment.... :D
Ka ;)

We stayed there last year. The rooms a fine. They are clean and a decent size and the hotel is in a good location. Close to the tunnel to get to Ibiza town etc.

The only down size is the customer service leaves something to be desired. It took them ages to allocate/find us a room when we arrived (considering it was 04.00am, this proved rather tiresome) and they were not remotey apologetic or seemed like they even cared. The reception people were, on the whole, rude and unhelpful and the maids had a rather annoying habit of just walking straight into your room whenever they pleased.

Also the security deposit boxes (a neccesity on holiday) were outrageously priced at 30€ a week, or something equally ludicrous.

Try to get a room at the front otherwise your are looking at a dusty cliff.

Don't be too put off though, we still had an amazing holiday - after all you do only sleep there!!

Thanks you James!!! ;)

And what can you tell me about the area where Lux Mar is? are there in the nearby restaurants, bars, shops? is there the possibility to park easily a car (I'll be ther in two weeks)?
How long does it take to get to Ibiza town and to Playa Den Bossa?

Thank you in advance for your reply!

Lux Mar is in Figuretas, right up the other end, more nearer PDB than Ibiza Town. We stayed in a hotel over the road from it last week. There are some great resturants around that area, especially on the beach path leading round Figuretas beach (if you want one good tip, eat in Resturant Italiano Marco - it's GREAT! ;) ).
To walk to PDB, it took us a good half an hour, but it's quite a nice walk as you can stroll along the beach for the main part of it. To walk to Ibiza town, again about 20mins-half an hour, as you have to walk up that big hill past D'alt Villa!

It's a decent enough hotel/apartments, and if you don't mind walking, and want a bit of a quieter stay than in the heart of PDB, it's fine for you.

Stayed there in june for the first time. we satyed in the panoramic part (its split into 2/3 different hotels/apartments) which had lovely views out to sea and of the sunset. Clean and not bad really, and the price was fantastic.

Would consider it again.

I've just come back from Ibiza and can tell you that LUXMAR apartamentos were great!

Great position! (a special thanks to James for the precious suggestion of the tunnel! There are works at the moment but this way to Ibiza is really faster!!! And thanks also for suggesting to ask a room vith sea view!)

The service has surely improved: everybody at the reception was kind and nice.

Very good accommodation!
Thanks to everybody!!!!!! :D

Ka (Missing Ibiza.... )

It's the route we took from Aparthotel Luxmar :? You probably could walk along the main roads and whatever but from the beach path it takes you up past D'alt Villa, through that tunnel etc :)

I suggest you to take the tunnel...
It will take you not more than 10 minutes on foot...
Bye and have a nice stay in Ibiza (wonderful island!)
