Oi! I nearly missed the "what I had for lunch" thread!

Marinated veggie salad, miso soup, fried rice, chicken tempura, and a six-piece salmon maki sushi roll.

Had some KFC on the weekend and gotta say I was disapointed. Not as good here as back West. They've got Rostiks here (who recently partnered with KFC) which is quite tasty 8) In any case, don't let these guys make you feel guilty PL.

Well Bripmon - due to the hoo har I have caused by my nibbling on a chicken wing - I should avoid KFC if I were you.

Also, I feel a bit sickly with all that grease, so I would (if I had my lunch all over again,) go for something like sushi and a fresh fruit salad......

Ok, the list so far is

1. spaghetti w/ chicken in a balsalmic vinegar dressing
2. not KFC

I am leaning on something on the lighter side, possibly a salad w/ some blackened chicken....

I just had a buffalo burger with french fries. Very lean and didn't taste like anything, not as filling or greasy as a regular burger so not a terrible experience. Just bland. And those bison are cute so now I feel guilty.

Would have rather have had mussels in vinaigrette like I had in Ibiza. I just bought two pounds at the Whole Foods Market last night and am looking up ways to prepare it. It's easier than I thought and should be a lot of fun cooking with my sister. I also bought a package of escargots that you just pop in the oven - I can't wait to see her trying one of those!!

I had a southwestern chicken salad w/ black beans and veggies. It was okay. I love bison, but you are right, it is a little bland. Best thing to do is dr. it up w/ a little A1!!!

I had some organic spicy black bean soup last night - amazing!

I was at an all American diner so the only condiments they had there were ketchup and Gulden's mustard. I did dress it up with cole slaw.

Mussells, here we come!!
