I having spaghetti but I just crossing my fingers that when my sister arrives she would suggest going out for lunch :D :D :D

haven't been to "wee ling dong's" for a while so just some usual starter stuff...spring rolls, prawn toasts, etc, etc, a big frozen carcus of an aromatic duck and for afters, some mochi, banana and red bean pastries and lychees.

check this out 30 spring rolls for £2.99!! anyone fancy settin up a chinese take-away??

No lunch again.

Dinner plans:
Pork medallions in a cranberry/cream/thyme sauce
long grain and wild rice pilaf
broccoli with parmesan cheese

Spinach salad with grilled chicken and a black bean and chorizo toss up; red bean stew and a jalapeno popper.

It's the Latino food festival at the firm cafeteria buffet line this week, and today we chose from over eight artery clogging dishes while Marc Anthony sang his heart out about Puerto Rico.

Sounds good. The most fun we get in the cafeteria at work is a day where the mayo-drenched Russian salads are replaced by marinated Korean salads, or all the main dishes are vaguely Georgian instead of non-descript Russian fare. ;)

OMG ... mayo drenched ... don't tell Pachagirl79 - she'll never want to go to Moscow!

At our cafeteria they have theme days where they play CDs and the workers wear costumes. Each week is a different cuisine, with Cajun being the best - the blackened catfish is amazing! The Chinese is terrible and unnecessary - you could walk across the street and for $5 USD get twice as much food!

No such fun for us. :(

After 3 years in the company, I've had pretty much every dish they serve 38 times :? That's one reason it's been so easy to go on a diet that involves skipping lunch.
