Going to Ibiza sept 2nd for a week. My 7th time and ive always gone to we luv which has always been a tradition. After being pretty dissapointed in it the last 2 years thinking I may do luciano at pacha this year instead. One of the reasons is we are planning on probably going to space atleast another 2 times that week and my girlfriends hasnt seen pacha yet. What is the vibe like a lucianos night? is it full of poser italians or are there a pretty much mixed crowd in there. And can you book Vip there, if so how much is it, is it worth doing and what do you get for your money?

sorry for all the questions

I can offer some information here, i went to lucano on 19th sept last year and booked a vip table and would say it's defo worth doing. It's a minimum spend of 150 euros per person and for that we got a bootle of grey goose vodka and mixers and water all night and this price also includes entry, and seeing a s i am more mature clubber it was cool to have somewhere to chill out if things got a little hectic 8O Can't really help on the vibe elsewhere in the club but it seemed very cool and it was going off pretty well.

Italian Sausage fest!! and they surge towards the DJ booth like animals screaming his name when Luciano comes on.. if your gonna do it wise to get a vip table. It's the only place where I would suggest Vip is a good thing it spoils your night getting crushed if you have a table you can dance there. The italians dont seem to like you dancing if you nudge them you get aggro. I only stayed for 3 of Luciano's tunes but Reboot before him was awesome and Caught the end of Michael Cleis before him he was also good :)

It seems he was although I can't give a more precise description as we just caught his last few records I think before Reboot came on, I didn't notice any significant change in the style of music and Reboot as a DJ plays a similar style to his own productions.. then I suppose the Reboot productions I know of have a similar sound to La Mezcla (I'm not overly familiar with any of Cleis's others)..I'm not sure what the technical name is but it has a kind of gypsy/south American carnival sound.. does it even have a name I don't know but I call it gypsy music :)

You could always do both! Get to Space early, and then leave for Pacha about 1.30AM. That's a proper messy affair! The boy Luciano does usually make it on until 4AM...

Messy affair and also a expensive affair. Its either 1 or the other. Getting a bottle of vod, mixers and water sounds decent. How do u go about getting vip tickets over there?

I just went onto the pacha website and e mailed them it was very easy and i forgot to say too that you don't have to queue either you go to the vip entrance just round the side and straight in.

Out of interest, how does the entry price work, when you've booked a VIP table, do you need tickets or do you just pay cash on the door?

Always amazes me when people say what good value it is, to go VIP, when you're paying £60-£70 for half a bottle of vodka!

It depends on what kind of deal you get but sometimes if you add up the cost of a ticket plus the cost of a similar number of drinks it does work out quite well.

you guarantee a minimum spend... as noted above, its usually $150 (150 euros?) a person i think but $300 for FMIF. you give them a credit card and there is no cover charge... if you happen not to spend the minimum, they would just charge your card the minimum.

sometimes the pricing can be not too much more than buying tickets and paying for drinks individually. for me, as one gets a bit older, its nice to have a place to sit and not deal with a crowded and sweaty dance floor....

and Ozreb- no dress code... i find actually that lot of clubs are less restrictive on the dress code when you are willing to buy a bottle.

unfortunately they don't seem to have much of a problem grabbing girls in a rude manner too - the girl i was with found that out unfortunately. only club night we've ever had that problem in ibiza

They love a bit of grabbing dont they the italians! Was @ DC10 last year and saw a young lad grab and pull a girls hair to get her attention!

Needless to say the girl was none to impressed and the slap saw him on his way:)

Interesting.....if by this you mean you don't have to pay to get in, I can see why it's attractive.
