Luciano and Pacha Ibiza reunite for Vagabundos 2016

Missing Dennis Ferrer by one night, gutted! I had tickets to see him in Amsterdam on New Years Eve a few years ago - ended up missing it and staying in the hotel room with horrendous food poisoning instead. (Three Sisters pub, don't have chicken on your nacho's dudes). Desperate to see him ever since just to make it up to the other half.

While I love the look of the 4 Insane residencies, shame it doesn't look like there will be much of Dennis Ferrer there this year. He played quite a bit there over the past few years, and quite a few people commented at the end of last season he was right back on top form at Pacha. I do love a bit of the likes of Ferrer, Derrick Carter, Sneak at Pacha - it totally suits it IMO. Though, I did see DJ Sneak is popping up at Pure Pacha Closing in October (along side Todd Terry).....just make sure you take a long cigarette break when Bob Sinclar is on!

I liked Dennis Ferrer at the Café Mambo preparty he did back in June last year and it's my first memory of Mambo too. It was solid music.

Not really feeling the July 15th lineup, would prefer Aug 5 or June 24th TBH

I cant really spot a bad night out of the 3. I think the talent is pretty evenly distributed. Of course preferences will vary, but dont sleep on Nick Curly and Miss Kittin, both of them are more than capable of dropping really good sets

Opening line-up below. Makes me kind of nostalgic just seeing the art-work!

Haha well i reckon they owe you a few guestlists and hierbas for the promotion you do on here for them!

I'm delighted with the Aug 5 lineup! Was worried I wouldn't catch ferrer at pacha this year but was a bit premature with my worry

Luciano is one of the most boring djs on earth. He could suck the life out of a funeral.

Dennis Ferrer on the other hand. Class.

I used to love luciano...but that was 10 years ago. I haven't heard him playing for a while now so will give him a chance or two this summer, but yeah, the last few years he's been VERY meh.

dennis ferrer - IMO one of the most underrated DJs in the business. and a fantastic producer too.

I think the problem with Luciano is that he's just focused on the technical side of the DJ'ing too much by using too many repetitive loops, instead of having peaks and valleys in his set. I'm still looking forward to seeing him at Cocooon this year, he's one of the guys I wanna see in Ibiza, but I am a little wary too. I've noticed that in recent years, he hasn't been Dj'ing as much with the other major players on the island unless he's focused on creating his own Vagabundos brand with his Djs.
