I'm sure we've all seen this film, saw it on channel 4 a couple of years ago when my spanish was very ropey.

It was TVE (channel 822 on sky) a few weeks ago and i recorded it and only got to watch it last night.

MADRE MIA!!

The spanish unedited version is so much better and the subtitles on the english version only seem to try and translate the untranslatable.

Paz Vega closely follows Formentera as the star of the show!!

What does everyone else think???
 
i think its a great film cos the actual plot is so open to interpretation and the boundaries between what is actually happening, what is being imagined and what is happening in the novel are so blurred.

it is very moving, especially regarding the death of luna, very sad.
