LOST

I must say... I've not been so excited about a TV show since the early days of X-files back in 94-95.

It is AWESOME and very addictive.

Let's hope it's not gonna get all stretched out and ruined like X-files :?

Season 2 of Lost is on it's way here.... Can't wait!

I am gonna be pissed off next week - because of flights - I miss an episode of lost - gonna have to get someone to tape the next to Wednesday's for me..... :? hmmmm Ibiza vs Lost - no competion really!!!

TV is getting good again for the winter mid week nights.

New series of
Waking the Dead
Spooks
Nip/Tuck

... I will be mostly in hibernation when I return end of next week!!! :D

I do like lost, but it's not as captivating as I thought it would be... maybe I just don't really care about any of the characters enough?

and does anyone else think it's a little bit too cheesy?

otherwise doubtless will continue to watch just for the sake of it, and eventually become transfixed...! :roll:

I agree. It looks good, but the script is weak. Matthew Fox, who I loved in "Party of Five" is just another Hollywood beefcake in this.

I didn't like Desperate Housewives either.

Now Spooks, that's a different matter. :D

Feel it's a load of pish now.

Just watch The Island of Doctor Moreau instead. That's just as bad.

Usual contrived American crap. It's like Neighbours. The only reason you watch the next episdoe is to see what happens next.

Stick yer cliffhanger endings up yer bum.

Watched CRASH with Don Cheadle last night. BRILLIANT!!!!

its 40mins of entertainment! nothing more, nothing less.
 
For sheer entertainment you can't beat The OC. For brilliantly scripted drama, my favourite is The West Wing.

Do I watch too much TV?? :lol:
 
never got into the OC. nor the west wing.

just cant watch programmes where i miss episodes.

hence my huge TV DVD collection. :?
 
Pilot episode was excellent.

Stunning effects, great mystery

Since then its going downhill fast - eash episode seems to be hugely sentimental



Compared to the drama, twists & suspense of 24 its not even close
 
The best episodes of Lost season 1 are in the beginning and the end.

I would recommend buying the DVD as waiting a whole week (?) for a new episode would perhaps take the spike out of it a little...
 
3 days and 14 episodes later...

im still no nearer of figuring out where they are, and why theres Polar Bears roaming around a Pacific Island...

are they on some alien spaceship being "studied"?

cliched,i find the last few epsisodes a tad boring im only watching to see the outcome
 
Tis certainly going downhill fast - doesn't help having to wait a week for a relatively short episode.

Just started to download the entire series to watch in one fell swoop :D
