Hi,
I plan to visit Ibiza from july 20th to 28th, and I'm looking for some pumping trance parties....With pumping trance I mean music with melodies and strong beats, for example :
Southside spinners : Luvstruck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdn_BhurWGs
Basic dawn : pure thrust http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rf068F2icQw
or some sound from nukleuz records : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGqNv36xtuE&feature=related
....I think you know what I mean, from classic trance to hard trance...

I was thinking about PVD@cream and Tiesto@privilege, but not sure it's a good choice for what I'm looking for....What do you think ?

thanks

southside spinners - luvstruck is an old track (1999 I think) and and pure thrust is 04??

think cream, tiesto, judjement sundays and armada are your best bet for that style of music

Armada is by far and away the best 'trance' night on the island - Cream has PVD who's gone downhill recently (he played Black Eyed Peas and Lily Allen at Amnesia last year!) and its too packed. Tiesto just plays pop music now and Judgement Sundays is like listenting to a blind dog playing on a load of sauepans! Armin rocks it every week at Armada.

For a few pre-club drinks you can't beat the Tropi bar in the West End - nothing too fancy but its cheap and bangs out trance all night - a great start to the night!

thanks

thanks for these answers....

I know these tracks are olds, but it was just in order to illustrtate my mind....and of course I'm also looking for new sounds....:D

Do you really think armin van buren is much better than PVD, I think for somebody who is looking for "puming" trance ?

(Just for information, I saw a few months agon Ferry Corsten mixing in Tokyo city, and I found it good, but not "hard" enough.)

It's all opinion isn't it. Luvstruck is like 12 years old now so that sound has moved on. It all depends on the DJ on the night. I find Tiesto @ Priv way too cheesy, Cream I've had good nights at but it's DJ dependent, Eddy Halliwell & Sander Van Doorn rock it, PVD is hit or miss. Armin's night is less busy & pretty banging, but I last went in 2006. Judgement Sunday will be on the more banging/cheesy/chav side of things. It all sounds pretty similar anyway.
