went animal hunting on my week off. but being autumn all the native animals have either buggered off or are hibenating. so only ducks and swans on show... although i did have a fox run out on me in the woods while he was being chased by dogs. oh and i finally saw the deer in my local woods.
have ya been to colchester zoo. tis very good there by all accounts. - must better than london zoo.

Lense is a Canon EF 70-300mm f4/f5.6 IS USM. £365 from warehouseexpress.com
Its a good lense if youve got the subjects full frame and plenty of light! - @ 300mm the max aperture is only f5.6. - but at that price cant really complain. any "pro" telephoto with f2.8 will set you back over a grand.
