I'm going down this weekend to see an old friend who lives down forest hill way but never goes out in London so doesn't have a clue whats going on at the moment can anyone help with tom night out, decent late bars or early club finishes.

I've thought of neighbourhood, but not to keen on the crowd last time I went there, any other good ideas?

Terry Francis & Craig Richards at Fabric, Craig is playing room 3

What about AKA - if you get there before 9pm it's free and Sancho Panzo are doing it tomorrow night.

Or Plan B in Brixton - I think Gilles Peterson is there tomorrow, that's always a good night and bridges the gap between bar and full-on clubbing.

Wealth of knowledge as usual ;) and I like Sancho Panzo (well the couple of CDs I have got) so its a good option, may need to try the 800 drinks from around the world they have while I'm there  !

Giles P is also a good option as my friend is a big big fan, what times it on to?

Just go to Sander Kleinenberg, Martijn Ten Velden, Mark knight and sebastian Leger at Ministry, where i'll be 8)

Plan B is open til 5, normally if you get there before 9/10 it's free to get in as well but I'd check their website www.plan-brixton to check if that's the case tomorrow if you decide. It's a great little place if you don't want a full-on clubbing night but you want something more than your standard bar ;)

Avoid Whitechapel. I read somewhere that jack the Ripper is from there (or something)

Try the Baltika beer from Russia. Best value-for-money proposition among the lagers they sell at AKA (after the taps close at 11), as it comes in a half liter bottle :D
