Alright, people. I'm planning ahead, for once. Trying to pick out something to do next Saturday. As far as I can tell, the options are:

MOS - Soul Heaven with Louie Vega
Fabric - Birthday party with Ricardo Villalobos & Andrew Weatherall
Pacha - Pukka Up Ibiza Reunion
Turnmills - Kinky Malinki with CJ Makintosh & Grant Nelson
The Cross - Club Azuli w/ Kurd Maverick, Jo Mills, Norman Jay
The Egg - Abstract w/ Cheshire Catz, Timo Garcia, Deepgroove
The End - Bugged Out w/ Miss Kittin

While I quite like Mr Vega, MOS is probably last choice as the missus wants to try something new (she's been to fewer London clubs than I). Of the list, I haven't been to Pacha, Fabric or The Egg... but I don't necessarily have to see something new this time around.

What do ya think? Which would you choose?
 
I'm going to Ministry but if not would be at The End.

Fabric is just full of tourists :spank:
Pacha London should have a bomb put under it :twisted: :lol:
The Cross (well speak to FHFHFHFHF about that one :lol: )
CJ Mack is good but Kinky Malinki is a weak line-up for Turnmills and attracts a bit of your funkyhousebynumbers type crowd.
Egg is a weird one, it's never really taken off as a Saturday night venue, everytime I've been it's been quite flat.

Imo.
 
I'm leaning towards The End but I'm not sure Irina will like it. Bugged out might be too techy for her taste.

Of all the DJs on offer that night, Louie is definitely the best.

Cheshire Catz are a lot of fun... just not sure about The Egg.

I've nothing against the Cross, though actually finding a spot to dance without getting bumped a lot is a tad difficult...
 
you need to start either right at the front or at the back, do not stand in the middle where you will get everyone walking between rooms... very annoying

Or alternatively you can just clamber into the DJ booth like me and Paul did last time Carter was playing there :oops: 8O :lol:

i wasn't convinced by this one as well. but i've seen her live twice at cocoon/amnesia and both sets were like 8O :D :twisted:

Ya, I think we pushed towards the front last time we were there, and somehow managed to find a bit of space for ourselves.

Still, it's certainly not the best set up.

I don't really notice them so much in Ministry cos I swan in like the Queen of Ministry that I am :lol: have a couple of drinks in VIP and then straight to my podium and don't move all night so I don't have to mix with the riff-raff :lol: ;)
 
oh dear, I really want to go to fabric or the end now - I hadn't checked listings for the 21st. But I don't get paid until the 24th. Tsk! And I'm BROKE after ibiza 8O

I'd say for the missus' sake go to fabric as it'll be less hard than miss kitten. Miss kitten probably won't turn up anyway :lol: (damn her!)

I moan about it every time I go but still end up in there at least once every quarter. :lol:

Miss Kittin is my absolute fave DJ so she pi$$es on the lot of them. I'm definately going there...wouldn't miss it for the world.

Frankly anyone who doesn't go is a w@nker and I don't want to speak to them. :lol:
