Hola

Does anybody know if you can drive from the A406 (North Circular) straight onto the A205 (South Circular). I.e is there a bridge that crosses the Thames, or do I have to head for either Dartford Crossing or Blackwall tunnel?

I'm driving from East to South London on Friday and the AA routefinder is suggesting me to go via Blackwall tunnel but I'm worried that will be busy 8O
 
I drive from Bethnal Green to Mitcham a few mornings/evenings a week Miss Boo. I usually come down the A10 through Shoreditch and over London Bridge and through Elephant and Castle an then Brixton Streatham.

Never have any major hold-ups.

Guess it depends where in 'Sarf' you're heading.

Rotherhithe tunnel is a bit quieter, its approx 3 miles west of the blackwall
 
I took the Blackwall tunnel this morning, roads were perfectly clear until we hit the cesspit of Catford, from then on it was a total fekcin nightmare! Took two hours!
