London Clubbing

Hi folks, am going to London for a Friday and Saturday night clubbing trip in January. We're looking for something fairly banging on the electro side of things on the Friday night and are planning to go to The Gallery at Turnmills. Saturday, we're looking for some deeper, tech-ier sounds and are planning to head for Fabric.

Having never been out clubbing in London, what i'd like to know is people's opinions on our planned nights (why we definitely should/definitely shouldn't go to either), and it would be useful if any Spotlighters could offer any alternative parties for us to ponder.

Thanks guys!

personally I can't stand either venue.....

if I was you I'd go here; friendlier crowd, nicer doorstaff and goes off more,...fabric has lots of really drunk people staggering about who aren't really into the music....gets good later on though when they all go home.

anyway, much prefer the end..

Nicer door staff at The End?? I think many people here can object to that!

Listen we all have different views on clubs in London. I personally think Turnmills is the best, closely followed by Ministry. I know other people's opinion will vary. Like The Lak says its probably best to see whats on the weekend you come over.

But I have to warn you January is very quiet month for clubbing.

Supposed to be going on 11th and 12th Jan. Couldn't find any listings for anything much after new years. Anyone know of any decent line-ups for those nights then?
