London airports

I'm booking flights to London and I'm a bit lost with the airports:
is Stansed close to London or is it far like luton? SHall I pay a bit more and go to Gatwick or is it the same than Stansed?

Stansted is about the same distance outside London as Gatwick is but Stansted is north of the city and Gatwick is south of the city. Stansted is served by the Stansted Express which goes into Liverpool Street, Gatwick is served by the Gatwick Express which goes into Victoria (and London Bridge I think ) Both will take about 30 mins.

There really isn't any difference so if Stansted is a lot cheaper then I'd fly to there.

It's more or less the same but you arrive earlier and you left later

Stansted often seem to have better flight times that Gatwick, I prefer flying from there.

Actually, I've just checked and the one offering better times is Gatwick
It's about 5€ more expensive but I get 4 more hours in London

There is also the point that Gatwick is much much busier and your flights are more likely to be delayed at Gatwick than Stanstead.
