the thing is if we said it was free for everyone we would have a million people there. it is free if you either
a. buy a ticket to the friday night gig (first 500)
b. buy a ticket to david guettas opening at pacha (first 500 from pacha shops)
c. apply through david guettas website (500)
d, or happen to be one of the 1000 people we give a free pass to, including 500 to local authorities run establishments/colleges
 
Free and guetta can never be in the same sentence. Why does it say the guetta`s will be kicking things off? please dont say there`s more than one.

So its "Free" (terms and conditions apply)to the "chosen"(people who tell us we're wonderful and dont smell of poo) few then.......

It saddens me the way Ibiza is heading these days:(

if we just had no terms and conditions then thousands would show up and people would get hurt. now that would be saddening. problem is no matter what, we can't win, someone will always moan. maybe we should have just put a 35 euros ticket price on it. still at least 2500 people will get in for free and have a great time. sorry if you don't like that.
 
I really don't see a problem with it. Sounds like a fair way of distributing tickets to me, Danny.

The only other option would be first come, first served, but that could get messy.

I would have thought the whole idea was to attract as many potential customers and visitors to the Island to experience a taste of what you are doing.

So why not hold it in Privilege free of charge which has a capacity for 10000??? Dont think Privilege have anything on that night??

I just have a problem with modern marketing techniques which advertise something as free when it really isn't......

well first because david wants to do the event in an iconic ibiza world heritage site and so do the IMS. secondly privilege is closed for another 3 weeks and you can't just ship in workers and open a venue like that for one night. an thirdly it is actually free, david is djing for no fee (and don't tell me he needs the press) and we won't be charging anyone to enter that night.
maybe you could put on a free event in privilege that night and show us how to do it ?
 
there's nowt pleasing some folk is there bez? lighten up fella - when was the last time anyone put on a free party with headliners of that calibre here in ibiza?

in that venue these two nights are two of the best parties of the summer. well worth coming just for the friday and if you may get lucky and can go to thursday as well!

I would be honoured to put on a free party in the real spirit of Ibiza and show you hows it done. Not one VIP table or bottle of Crystal in sight and it would be full of genuine people not "moaners" as you refer to them.

About time the Island was returned to the people rather than the wealthy elite that now control it.

Only problem is that certain people may want to shut me down because im taking buisness from them.

PS I would not pay "david" to clean tables at my party either ;)

I think its great that they through this kind of free party, even if the headliners arent my cup of tea... the friday looks imense... and we are currently trying to rearrange our plans so we can come for the openings now... fingers crossed we can all do it!!!

(it was me who swore never to go to the openings again... but hey... what the hell... :lol: )
