Lively hotel needed.

Piscis Park is grim, no question about it but to be honest probably not half as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be. I was there for a week in 2010 and had no trouble.

The best advice I found was make sure you get 2 room kets and 2 security deposit box keys. The crowd was very West End but expected that for the price. If you want a cheap place to keep your stuff and put your head down every so often it's ideal.

Stayed in the Brisa in 09 and 10 and for the money it was worth it. Lively but not annoyingly so.rooms clean basic, decent bar and pool area.no problems with anyone being TOO lively . Location isnt great IMO (up towards top end of San An) but only 5minutes to West End if thats your thing, maybe 10 to sunset strip. could be worth a look
did the poniente (now Poniente playa) YEARS ago (late 90s) and that was good too. Big rooms , big bar, good pool , lively (18-30 at the time) crowd and only 5mins from mambo etc. Prefer that end of San An , towrds Calo des moro, hotels seem to be less packed in and more open space!

Where does everyone suggest then?

I stayed in Central Park Apartments - good location and a lively place and its clean and serves your needs well tbh - and this is coming from a well traveled youngster who has stayed in some 5 star hotels

ONLY downside is the no air con - it gets f**kin hot when youre getting ready etc  the layout of the place is very sociable 8)

I have to say those reviews on Trip Advisor have kept me entertainment through my lunch break and beyond at work today, in what would have otherwise been a ridiculously uneventful day at the office

I'm staying at central park arrive on the 4th June for a week :)

How bad is it without the air-con??? And also how lively is it in early June for anyone that's been before?

I went mid June and it was lively...as for the air con- i cant tell if you are female or male by your username lol but if you are female - its a nightmare getting ready as you are literally sweating lol. As for if you are male - depends how much of a man tart you are

It was just a bit of a nightmare for us girlies and i probably would want to pay that bit more for somewhere that had aircon. Of a night time for the few hours you do sleep - i didnt notice the heat - alcohol induced coma

I'm female haha! Yeh the air con in the one thing I'm worried about. But my fiend is working over there just now and he said its quite cold at night just now so I'm thinking it might not be as bad as it would be end of June/July!

You really dont notice it at night tbh - well i never did.

Its more frustrating when you are getting ready and the straightners are on and the hair dryer is going etc etc, but we survived it, albeit with alot of moaning

I'm hoping it won't be as bad in June without air con as the humidity is no where near as bad as it is july or August! It's just the getting ready part I'm worried about!!!
