Life in Ibiza

Disclaimer: This post is fuelled on an Ibiza high and a few vino blanco's.

If, like 99% of visitors to this magical island you harbour dreams of living here full time, or live in San Jose and don't realise how lucky you are, what are the downsides/ upsides?

We have only been here for four months so are probably not in a position to offer any kind of objective opinion, but in the true spirit of "I know best" here is my brief summary of life in Ibiza.

1) If you don't live in Ibiza and have no desire to live here, you are barking mad.

2) If you do live here and have any weird desires to move back to where you come from, you are barking mad.

3) If you have lived here a few months and are terrified about your electric bills, go to Pacha every Saturday and it will all seem a lot better.

4) If all else fails, go to Cala D'Hort and yell at the big rock, apparently it brings peace.

All the above is tongue in cheek (sort of!), the reality is, Ibiza is the greatest place on earth to spend your limited time on our small rock...

lol!!! still not been to Pacha and STILL not been to Cala D'Hort!!! Time just seems to run away with you out here..... (pacha out of the question anyway cos they don't seem to want manic 4 year olds running around! lol)....

Merry Christmas and a Fab New Year to all xxx

Great drunken rant and very true! How are you spending Christmas day??

Spending the day doing as little as possible, hopefully the children will leave the house for a walk on the seafront at some point, the weather is simply incredible right now. Usually dashing all over visiting people so it will be pure bliss to do nothing.

Have a good one, Wilko. Keep your dream for 2013 alive, look forward to catching up when you take the plunge.

Look forward to catching some of your performances in 2013, lisa, have a gr8 xmas & new year :)
