Robder said:Life plan was put into action yesterday...I've found a really good 'teach yourself Spanish' cd which goes on forever and I'm coming on in leaps and bounds already.
Any tips for good courses/books/cds to get when I've finished this that teach you at intermediate level?![]()

Barbie said:Robder I bought a book/CD ages ago and I didn't find them much use initially, but since I did a beginners guide to Spanish the book/CD is a lot more useful - it's best to start some course alongside learning at home.
I did an 8 week beginners course @ the YMCA on Tottenham Court Road (they also do intermediate/advanced courses) and now I've signed up for a year long course @ Thames University - your local area will offer similar courses.

Further in the time I'll recommend you short books and spanish music. I realised I had an acceptable level of english when I could understand songs easely![]()
grego said:reading websites in spanish helps no end as well and even if when you're starting and you can't understand much, it still helps you to familiarise yourself with the language. there are loads but the BBC has a spanish language news site (as well as loads of learn spanish tools thru the main site)
