Soul Heaven returns to the capital at this premier location of Electric Brixton for a series of parties. We launch our new residency with two legends Louie Vega & Paul “trouble” Anderson for what promises to be a night of true dance music.

For many of us Paul “trouble” was at the beginning of our adventure into club music. People travelled far and wide for his seminal nights at The Loft throughout the nineties & at a time before digital down load, where music was a lot harder to access, tape recordings were passed around of his off the hook radio shows on kiss FM.

Louie Vega & Paul “Trouble” have been friends since 1989. They were on the bill together for the early Sunrise and Energy events which heralded the beginning of the house era in London, then later Louie had guest spots at Paul's HQ Loft Parties among weekly guest such as Loleatta Holloway, Jean Carne, Jocelyn Brown, Masters at Work, Tony Humphries, Rosie Gaines, Michael Watford, Darryl Pandy and Barbara Tucker to name but a few . Louie says "Paul Trouble is one of the few pioneers of house music that truly inspired me to make some of the Maw sounds I had played on keyboards at that time. His sound was deep, soulful and had a real ness to it that touched anyone in whichever room he played in, one of my Londontown heroes". Soul heaven looks forward to bringing two of our all time heroes together for a night of great dance music.

Louie Vega, just coming off five successful sell out events at the Miami Winter Music conference is geared up to play a set filled with hot new sounds fresh from the dance floor. We are also proud to announce Soul heaven and executive producer Louie Vega introduce at the party Boddhi Satvas new album entitled invocation out on BBE.

In the words of Paul himself “A house is where you live & a garage is where you park your car'! So come on down to be part of this very special night where the dance ritual meets the advance dance for what promises to be a great party.

Great response already to Soul Heaven being announced at Electric, Brixton with Masters At Work head honcho Louie Vega in da house..

Luis Fernando Vager (born June 12, 1965), better known as "Little" Louie Vega, is an American musician of Puerto Rican ancestry. He is one half of the Masters At Work musical production team. He was born to a musician family, as his father, Luis Vager, was a jazz saxophonist, and his uncle was singer Héctor Lavoe of the Fania All-Stars. He started his DJ <https://career spinning records at the age of 13. By 1985, Louie who is cousin to Eric Vega, popular event creator and promoter in New York City began playing house and block parties in his local Bronx neighborhood of New York , as well as engineering and mixing. The Two Ring Circus features his earliest dabblings in the studio.) His first nightclub residency was at the Devil's Nest, in the Bronx, and later he moved to Roseland, Studio 54 and the Palladium in Manhattan. During the 1990s, Vega was playing at one of the most influential nightclubs for house music , The Sound Factory Bar . By the mid-90s, the Masters At Work team had Vega spending less time behind the turntables and more time in the studio as the team's remixing skills became legendary.

Paul “Trouble” Anderson makes a welcome return to Soul Heaven and to South London. This is a rare opportunity to see both Louie and Paul playing together..

Paul is the most naturally gifted DJ in the UK/Europe. His incredibly accurate technical skills, perfect clean mixing, and all-action DJ style, have inspired many of the UK and Europe's young DJs. His skills and teaching have directly influenced Carl Cox, DJ Jason Kaye, Karl ‘Tuff Enuff' Brown, and DJ EZ. Paul has pioneered and played all types of dance music. He played the best tunes during the rise of each genre: Reggae, Soul, Funk, Jazz-Funk, Disco, Electro, Hip-Hop and then House.
