Another thing: Weighing yourself
Don't weigh yourself in the morning. Weigh yourself later on in the day after eating- your normal everyday body weight. Of course you're going to weigh less in the morning, you're dehydrated, hungry and you just lost 2 pounds taking your morning pee!
I can't believe how many people don't realize this- DON'T weigh yourself on carpet! It's duh, I know, but many people don't realize it.
Over the period of many years a mechanical scale looses its accuracy. A new scale every now and then or an electronic scale is in order.
Or better yet, throw the bugger out and just be what is comfortable for you.
