After a successful summer of parties on La Isla Blanca, 'Ibiza Tailandia' is proud to present their full moon party at Las Dalias, Sunday 14th September.
Hosted by Thai supermodel, Wanmai Janin, Ibiza socialite Melanie Jebari and 'Ibiza Tailandia' promoter, Cliff Brown, this event is set to rock. Kicking off at 8pm with an authentic Thai 3 course seated meal and drinks reception, things heat up considerably as the Dj's take over and move the party into the twighlight zone through 'til 6am. Highlights include a fashion show, live drums & Kym Mazelle alongside guest DJ's, plus residents from both Ibiza and Thailand, taking you on a journey you won't forget.
Spinning the decks you'll find none other than Thailand's very own DJ A . With a residency at the Paradise bungalow's Full Moon Parties in Koh Phangan plus Koh Samui's Santa Fe and Black Moon Parties, he'll be bringing an authentic flavour to the event. Other big names on the night will include DAVID MORENO (Ibiza Global Radio), OLIVER LANG (Bora Bora) and ROB MARMOT (Wonderland) amongst many others. Ibiza Rocks Hotel's resident band, NOWTHEN will also be playing and artistic performers THE MINX FX will be adding their very own style of creativity to the proceedings - as always, expect the unexpected!
Playground to some of the world's biggest rock and roll heroes, the legendary Las Dalias, is Ibiza's oldest music venue. Situated in San Carlos, hippy central of Northern Ibiza, Las Dalias also hosts 'Namaste' on Wednesday evenings, and is the perfect location to unite these two worlds – the spiritual East with the hedonistic West.
Cliff Brown, who has also promoted parties at the Cannes Film Festival, as well as evenings in Koh Samui, Thailand, discussed his vision for 'Ibiza Tailandia': "It's about bringing together these two very like–minded destinations. The vibe you get at Las Dalias is very similar to what's happening in Thailand where the hippy crowd also congregates and the locals are just as laid back and inspirational. It's about letting the people in Ibiza know that Thailand is now firmly on the map as a party destination and vice versa. When the season ends here, there's another place that can fulfil the requirements of Ibiza's clubbers: Thailand."
For those of you eager to get going even earlier, there will be a pre-party starting at 2pm. A shuttle service to Las Dalias will be available between 7pm-12am from three locations: Ushuaia Sea Lounge, Playa Den Bossa (in front of Space on the beach), Orange Corner, San Antonio (next to Bar M) and Sandy's Bar, Santa Eularia (behind cafe Royalty).
Appetites for this style of Ibiza/Thai fusion can also be satisfied every Tuesday for the remainder of the season at 'Grial Tailandia' at Grial nightclub in Ibiza Town. DJ's on rotation include OLIVER LANG, ALEX MILES, ROB MARMOT, JON HOWELL, JON JAK (co-host), DAZZLA, SCOTT MARTIN, JAMIE GITTINS, CLINT LEE, AARON ASHLEY and ISSIE NIXON.
