The story: An international team of island-individualists, creative people, musicians, painters, photographers and DJ’s, that have been living on Ibiza had a vision. They gathered together in the north of the island and brought to life a unique institution – Namaste!
Every Wednesday the >Namaste Experience< takes place in San Carlos at Las Dalias. International artists, such as dancers from India, from the Far East, musicians from Brazil, Mexico or Europe get together and perform under blue skies in the exotic decorated garden of Las Dalias. Asian and Oriental food is served and World Music is played either live or mixed by DJ’s in the so-called Trance Temple.
>Namaste Experience< has developed into an international well-known event and is one of the most popular events in the summer.
“Namaste Identity” is the fourth release of the series and is a CD + DVD. The Cd reflects the music of the party flair. World Music, Ambient and groovy tracks from artists around the world compiled by DJ and Namaste team member Alok.
The DVD shows images and clips of the Namaste happening. It shows the fantastic decorated garden, the different performers on the garden stage and images of the Trance Temple. It includes 4 interviews of the founding and co-founding members: Merel, Alok, Jon Michell and Bamboo. In these interviews each member shares a bit about himself, the idea behind Namaste and the meaning of the celebration.

Also at Christmas, the visitor can obtain a taste of Las Dalias by it’s Christmas Market.
From around the 12th of December, the hall, gallery & Restaurant are dressed in Christmas colours and approximately 50 stalls offer the spirit of the more alternative Ibiza. Clothing, accessories, décor, antiques, exotic articles or crafts, all comprise a diverse display of shopping possibilities. The atmosphere extends to the food and beverage part of the market as well. In the hall bar, the traditional Glüewein, warm wine with spices in the German tradition, is the star offer of the bar.
In the restaurant, there are traditional dishes for the season, as well as the usual exotic fare the restaurant is known for. On occasion, there is live music in the restaurant by great island talents in duo or trio format.
The market closes on the 24th of December and the smaller “Reyes” or “Kings” market opens on the 27th till the 5th of January.
