I don't normally publicise most of the work i do, but i'm particularly proud of this one.......i think we've made a real tribute to larry with the feature.

see here

just had a skim through, really good stuff, Grego - will read it properly later :)

so sad the way his life ended RIP

is it all over my face, pinball count, family affair > 3 of my faves

Got a double cd of him live which is wicked. Had two copies and flogged one to American punter on ebay for £30!

Didn't read it properly Greg, saving it for work tomorrow ;)

Great stuff Grego, congrats. I re-read "Last Night a DJ saved my Life" recently, so it was fun to get some more info on this legend.

Wow - can't wait to read this!

I love Larry also - once you learn about him you can spot his continued influences everywhere.

I do however think that people love him more because he died.

David Mancuso is the real legend and he's still out there doing it! 8)

Think record pools, mixed audiences and the eclectic music he's known for - still.

I hate to think that he'll suddenly get loads of coverage when it's too late!

don't forget Ron Hardy...8)

True - but still not in the same league as Mancuso...

He developed a style that was very niche (possibly because he was so off his t!ts half the time!)

None of these DJs are as eclectic and knowledgeable as the man himself.

PS - on a disco note I danced on stage with Grace Jones last night.

Got a bit over excited in the mosh pit and climbed over the barrier.
