not sure when (or if) a G5 chipped powerbook is due. something to do with how to handle the heat generated by the G5 CPU.
I've got the 12" Powerbook and run it dual screen with a 17" CRT monitor - works fine for designing, both music and graphics. I can then use word processing / DVD player / Ableton if I'm on the road with a very compact package, but also have the screen real estate at home when I'm doing work.
NB I don't think iBooks have dual screen capability (they can mirror but not expand the desktop)
