La Troya At Amnesia

I am confused- I thought La Troya is now 'Home of La Troya' and it is at SPACE every Weds.....are they back at Amnesia? Two seperate parties?? (The calendar still lists LaTroya@Space)

Amnesia are running their own La Troya party with
cesar de melero and a performer
 
Will the two La Troyas be going head-to-head against each other or will they be on separate nights -- in which case on what night will it be at Amnesia? And when does it start? (The Party Calendar makes no mention of the event at Amnesia).

I think they're going to be on the same night. Crazy i know!
 
Yup, I just checked their web page and they are going head to head with Space.

This is great as I was sorely disappointed with the move to Space -- Amnesia is such a perfect venue for La Troya. My spirits have been lifted and I'm looking forward to my trip soooo much more now! I'm already going to be at Space for Matinee, Gorgeous and Fake and I really didn't want to go for La Troya as well. FABOOLA! Let's just hope that Amnesia fills itself out and that the crowd isn't too sparse being split between two clubs.
 
if you look in the party calendar
seems that fake also disappeard
and now it only says space session
and even if there is fake whats the plan
keep the la troya at space until 8 send everyone home and reopen at 9?
sounds odd

but for the 2 partys issue
la troya at amnesia was one of the best partys ibiza has to offer
to move to space doesnt seem like such a good idea to me
the amnesia terrace is the most suited place for la troya
the only question is
where will the good old la troya crowd go this year
with all the respect to oliver and marcelo what makes the la troya so great
is its awesome crowd and atmosphere

hopfully by august the fight will be over and only one la troya will remain

The 2nd week of Home of La Troya at Space was jam packed as well. There was hardly space to move on the terrace. The discoteca was busy but not too full, but I think that's because all the action was in the other room.

It felt like the party lost a bit of its mojo, to be honest. The Amnesia terrace was a better venue. Still, to me it seemed more correct to follow the organizers than attend Amnesia's copy of their format.

Now whilst I am also delighted that La Troya is still on at Amnesia (indeed delighted is an understatement!), and whilst I shall definitely be going to La Troya at Amensia rather than Space, I cannot help but wonder whether Julesmanchester's posts are those of a neutral party or, as I suspect, an Amnesia plant! Certainly that is the impression one can be forgiven for drawing in light of the posts made thus far on this topic! So what gives, Julesmanchester? Are you working for Amnesia or are you just Amneisa's number one La Troya fan?
 
I must admit, it was all a bit wierd.

The flyers were all done very similar, I'm surprised on such flaky legal administration let it go on. It'd definitely be worth a writ under English law (how Ibiza, haha!).

We spent a few hours in Space, though it was a frightnengly awful atmosphere. Very gay, though very agressive, and it seemed like the standard Italian avoision to even a hint of a smile prevailed as it looked like a club of wannabe divas. We promptly went to a pre-arranged meet at Privilege after a few hours.

One plus was that, with the new Terrace, Space, as a nightclub, is 100 times better than the old "inside only" setup for do's between midnight and 8am.
 
We planned our 10 day trip to Ibiza around the date of La Troya in Amnesia - best party ever in our previous trips!:) So we were surprised to find that La Troya had moved to Space and that there were 2 parties last Wednesday.

We went to Amnesia first at about 2am; place was virtually empty with absolutely none of us party poofs there. Had a couple of beers (and forced to drink from cheap plastic glasses!!:( ) then jumped in a taxi to La Troya at Space.

Space was packed and full of real party people (including the party poofs!)!! ;) The La Troya Crew was there in all its full regalia! Amnesia is still our favourite club and La Troya one of our favourite parties, but based ion last Wednesday's experience, Space has the upper hand! And if Amnesia is only charging a piddling EUR 15 entrance, how long will it last there? :confused:
 
juuuuules, where are youuuuu? :lol: :twisted: :lol:

amnesia is ripping people off and thats a fact. if you enjoyed la troya in the past you know where you have to go.....
