Mckrackin......what can i say. Thank you for recomending such a top class sunset bar. We tried Del mar and Mambo's but neither of them came close to Kumharas. Far to commercialised. The only way I can describe kumharas is "real". All 3 evenings we went, we were the only tourists there. It was great to be amongst the locals. Out of interest, were you there last week at all? Strange to think you could have been and we might have seen you!
Of everything we did in Ibiza, the thing we will remember most is the sunset from Kumharas.

the place is amazing....the sunsets are awesome from there and the place has a genuine "feel" to it, not too crowded + locals go there as well. good thing huh?

i've never been, but ots definately on my list of things to do this year Cant wait :)

By far the best place to watch sunset imo, you don't get any of the d!cks you get down at Mambos. We first went in 1999 I think it was and hardly anyone knew about it then cept for the locals, you get a few more tourists there these days but it's still unspoilt cos it's a trek to get there a lot of people don't bother.

There is so much I havent seen, and am so looking forward to seeing all these new places (well new for me anyway) good job i found this board.

Is it easy enough to find on foot, or would i be better off getting a taxi????

It's easy enough to find on foot, just keep walking round the Bay but it is a bit of a trek. From Bahia Hotel it probably took us about 30 minutes to walk there and then normally longer to get back cos I've normally drunk 2 jugs of Sangria and I keep getting distracted and keep showing off and doing cartwheels and the like  :p

Really doesnt matter about the walk, I could walk forever in Ibiza.
If the sangria has that effect then I'm definately ordering myself a couple oflarge jugs :p

Cheers Babs ;)

So if I see someone cartwheeling round the bay post-Kuhmaras then I'll take full responsibility for your actions lol ;)

where is this situated in san an bay ?

Just keep walking round the Bay, it's a fair old trek tho but if you keep walking you can't miss it. I think you can get boat from San Antonio to close to it but we've always walked or taxied it.

Thanks to Barbie .. I will be partaking of mucho sangria and flashing my knickers this holiday! Cartwheeling a go go !!

Oh YESSSSS, one hour at mambos was enough to make it quite clear that a common lad like me wasnt really fitting in. Mr Sanchez looked a lot easier to get along with than most of the posers in there!
