KOKO Camden London

It's Camden Palace with a lick of paint :lol: I don't know where the multi-million refurb went :lol:

Crowd-wise I've only been for Armand van Helden at Easter and I was impressed with the crowd - older and less toe-raggy than the Camden Palace crowd of old altho that wouldn't be hard :lol:
 
(Oh, and I thought exactly the opposite wrt the crowd?!

All kids in this seasons H&M trendy gear - girls in dresses with black tights and fellas in skinny jeans, with a smattering of good looking Hed Kandi types that are equally musically indifferent to Razorlight or Erick Morillo.)

All nice people though ;)

:lol: It was an improvement to the old Camden Palace crowd tho when you had to climb over 16 year olds laid on the floor in k-holes to get to the bar :lol:

I never went to Camden Palace.

I was all a bit of a relatively late starter, and so by the time I was going out properly, Camden Palace was too young for me, and everyone had moved on to Rulin.

K at 16 though. I mean really...:roll: :lol:

We're doing an aftershow 5 mins from Koko with some of the DJs from this event. Spotlight guest list by PM;)
 
Depends on the night.

Dance music it's ok - nicer than it was (but minus a bit of the old 'character' and a decent sound system now.

Indie - expect wall to wall miserable/posh indie kids in painted-on jeans.
