Km5 Or L´elephant?

Hmmm - looks nice. I like French food but aren't the portions small? They love their meat too don't they? I'd probably be offered a token vegetable surprise.

Dom is veggie and literally got a plate of veg with a drizzle of something??? chefs special sauce.

Too much show off at Elephant and the prices go with it. Nice minimal furniture. Food was average.
I miss clos Denis next door, wich was good value.

the best recommendation any restaurant could possibly get!

chuck us another scatter cushion s'il vous plait.

  Doesn't say much about the food really does it!
Oh I forgot the waiter there had the biggest set of bottom teeth I've ever seen.

8O I don't know which is more shocking - that you got that close to his arse or that he had a set of fangs up there? I mean, I know ladyeez have two sets of lips.......

I would go to Es Ventall in San Antonio- it's a family run restaurant that serves typical Ibecenco food in an un-typical way (it's Nouvelle Cuisine but instead of tiny little spots on your plate you get it in proper sized portions).

great choice padster - my mummy and daddy love it there - though i wouldn't really class it as a special place. much better value for money than the frenchies though!

hmmm ok ill get a rooftop table then. thx you guys.:)

and if they do sell furniture, I hope its tasty lol*

well ok they don't sell furniture but maison de l'elephant just outside ibiza town does.

and i know of people who have turned up there saying they had a reservation!8O:lol:

we went last night and were delighted with everything. the patio at the back was quiet and the view reminded us of an andalusian white village. the service was polite and friendly. the food was absolutely delicious - well presented and the flavours fused perfectly - so a big 10 to the young kitchen team. there's a good reasonably priced wine list and the background music is thankfully unobtrusive. we shelled out 65 euros for the two of us.

i was so pleased with everything i 'let' the mrs beat me at chess 3 times on the bounce at cafe babel later on!!

i'd go to es ventall in c/cervantes 26. get a 3 course meal freshly prepared plus wine for around 10 euros

i found the answer myself!!! sounds like its just up the road.....

last night we popped into the island cafe where they have live salsa music on a saturday night and sunday afternoon, and cafe babel where they had a guy (the most stoned person i've ever seen - but i don't get out much) playing sitar!
